What I most enjoy about working with clay is experimenting with different forms, glazes and firing
techniques. My studio is in Pleasant Valley, five miles from Mineral in the foothills of Mt Rainier.
Born in Okanogn, Washington, I am a graduate of Eastern Washington University, with a MFA
from the University of Minnesota. I spent more than 20 years teaching, including heading the
ceramics program at Highline Community College in Des Moines, Washington.
